Travel Summer Outfit for Italy – Recommendation for Women

After years of dreaming about Italy, we finally made it happen this summer!

Every other attempt had been canceled, but when Bryan got the chance to see a client there, I knew it was our moment. Despite everyone saying I should wait because Liam is just 4 months old, I was determined. 

I did my research and packed carefully, excited to explore Italy with both Liam and Olivia in tow.

Here is what I packed for my Italian adventure with my little ones alongside!

Dokotoo Casual Jumpsuit

I packed along a Dokotoo Womens Casual Jumpsuit, a versatile piece that turned out to be a great choice. The jumpsuit was sleeveless, with a squared neck and featured a wide-leg design that made it incredibly comfortable. 

It was a beautiful shade of deep green with a subtle floral print. The flowers were a contrast of blue and gray, and added a touch of elegance. The lightweight fabric and functional pockets made it practical for the Italian summer.

Molerani Casual T-Shirt Loose Dress

My trusty navy Molerani linen dress was a lifesaver on those casual Italian days. Made from a cool, breathable rayon-spandex blend, it kept me comfortable under the warm sun. The loose fit flowed with every move, while the deep V-neck added a touch of elegance. 

It was easy to throw on and chase after Olivia, and the dark blue color hid any gelato mishaps (inevitable with a six-year-old!). Plus, being machine-washable made it perfect for those quick hotel room freshen-ups. 

Wiholl Two Piece Outfit 

This tie-dye two-piece set was my go-to for those lazy mornings in our Italian hotel. The perfect color combo of black and blue was so pleasing on its own. 

The soft, stretchy fabric felt like a hug after long flights, perfect for lounging by the pool or grabbing a quick breakfast. I even snuck it on for some evening strolls, feeling effortlessly cool and comfy under the starry sky. 

It was that kind of outfit you just wanted to live in – no fuss, all comfort.

Wide Leg Palazzo Pants 

These wide-leg palazzo pants are a dream in black! They were my go-to for exploring Italy with Liam and Olivia. 

The flowy, lightweight fabric felt breezy under the hot sun, and the wide legs gave me plenty of room to chase after my little ones. The adjustable knot waist was super comfortable, and the deep pockets were perfect for stashing snacks and tissues.

Mini Tote Bag 

My trusty canvas crossbody was a lifesaver in Italy. The muted gray color blended perfectly with the cobblestone streets, and the sturdy canvas material held up to all the exploring. 

Its compact size was ideal for quick outings, keeping my essentials within easy reach. It was the perfect size to hold my phone, wallet, and a few snacks for the kids. 

The adjustable strap let me wear it crossbody for hands-free convenience or as a shoulder bag when I needed to dig deeper.

Julunar Satin Head Scarf 

This beautiful floral scarf in white base added a touch of elegance to my Italian wardrobe. The soft, flowing fabric felt luxurious against my skin, and the vibrant colors complemented the stunning scenery. 

I wore it as a headscarf on breezy days, as a shawl during cool evenings, and even as a sarong for a spontaneous picnic in the park. Its versatility made it a perfect travel companion, and it always managed to elevate my outfits, no matter the occasion.

Feversole Ballet Flat Walking Shoes 

These black Mary Jane flats were my favorites in Italy. 

The soft cushioned insole felt like walking on clouds, even after hours of sightseeing. The classic design paired perfectly with both my casual dresses and jeans, making them a versatile addition to my wardrobe. 

The metal buckle added a touch of elegance, and the slip-on style made them a breeze to put on and take off. They did not bruise my feet even after all the running after my little monsters!

SweatyRocks Button Down Shirt 

The button-up top I carried along was a vibrant blend of blue and green, with a tropical leaf print that added a refreshing vibe. 

The short sleeves and lightweight fabric make it ideal for warm Italian summers. The top had a relaxed fit, allowing for easy movement—perfect when managing both Liam and Olivia.

I wore this top in multiple ways: tucked into high-waisted shorts for casual sightseeing, tied at the waist for a playful beach look, and layered over a tank top for added coverage when needed. Its versatility was a lifesaver, offering both style and practicality. 

Sojos Vintage Sunglasses 

These stylish sunglasses were my all-time accessory in Italy. The classic cat-eye frame added a touch of retro chic to any outfit, while the tortoise shell pattern gave them a warm, earthy vibe. 

They were perfect for shielding my eyes from the bright Mediterranean sun and added a touch of mystery to my look. I paired them with everything from sundresses to casual jeans, and they always elevated my style.

Chiffon Shrug Cardigans 

This lightweight, open-front shrug in a soft khaki hue was perfect for layering over my outfits. The delicate chiffon fabric draped gracefully, adding a touch of femininity. 

Its short sleeves and cropped length made it ideal for warmer weather. Moreover, the open front allowed for easy on and off, even with a fussy toddler in tow. The shrug’s versatility was a major plus, as I  paired it up with various outfits – from casual dresses to jeans and tops.

Lace Up Sandals 

These brown gladiator sandals were a perfect match for my Italian getaway! 

The multiple straps and lace-up design added a touch of bohemian flair, while the neutral color made them versatile for pairing with different outfits. The flat sole provided comfort for long days of exploring, and the open-toe style kept my feet cool in the warm weather. 

These sandals effortlessly transitioned from sightseeing to evening strolls!

Sak Crochet Bag

This crochet tote was my Italian BFF. 

It held everything – snacks, water, maps, you name it. The soft, textured look was perfect for the summer vibe, and the neutral color went with everything. 

Comfortable straps made it easy to carry, even with Liam in tow. Stylish, practical, and perfect for our long hour Italian exploration journeys.

Open Toe High Heels
